My Good Eater

My baby loves momma's mozzarella chicken.

He really loves it.

Do you think she likes the smell?

My cute little sheriff.

She really didn't like the smell. :)

4 going on 5

Ali put a pair of heels on and wrapped a scarf around her neck and asked, "Do I look 5 yet?"

This dude was sick last week. He wore his shoes the entire time. It was wishful thinking he could go out and play. PITIFUL.

Not sure what to do with this little one. He's been climbing out of his crib for awhile but it's usually after his nap or in the morning but not anymore. He pretty much slings his leg out and jumps down as soon as we put him in there. I put a doorknob holder on the inside of his door to keep him in his room for his nap today and when I went into check on him this is what I found.

(We also have a twin bed in his room now with a railing, but he won't sleep in it. Not sure what we are going to do tonight.)

Going Private

I'm going to be taking the blog private in the next week or so. I've been thinking about it for awhile and a small little incident today encouraged me to make the decision. If you'd like to continue to follow our family online please send me your email address at acozart1@kleinisd.net.  I'll make sure to add your email address to the list of readers. Thanks.

Sometimes they are such big helpers

I was trying to get Carter to bed and I came back in the living room and guess what I saw? That's right. Ali folded a few towels. She even had them divided up by kitchen, kid bath, and parent's bath. She can be such a big helper.

And I can't leave out this little guy who loves to vacuum. I hope he doesn't grow out of it.

I'm loving this weather. It's so nice to get to spend some time playing outside.

Vegas Baby

Kyle and I went to Vegas last week from Wednesday-Saturday. He had meetings, and I took off work to tag along. We stayed an extra day and night to have a little more play time. While he was in meetings I had some much needed 'me time.' I pampered myself a little, worked out, read a book, and went to the movies. I saw King's Speech. All I have to say is FABULOUS. You need to go see it!

I was wondering if we would run into anyone famous. We were there over SuperBowl weekend. Unfortunately, the only person I saw was the Sister Wives husband. I've never seen the show, but I did see them on Oprah. The husband was with his first wife, and they both looked like they needed a good shower! I did not ask for a picture.

We ate some delicious food and now I need to go on a diet. If you are ever in Vegas go have lunch at Holstein's in the Cosmopolitan. Delicious…But the highlight was eating at Bobby Flay's Mesa Grill. We are HUGE 'Grill It' fans. Bobby Flay cooks with the perfect amount of heat, and he's also a sauce guy which we love. So, with Bobby's recipes and Kyle's fantastic grilling skills we eat well at home. What is my contribution? Well, I watch and drink wine while he cooks. I digress; needless to say it was a real treat eating at his restaurant. I was soooo hoping to see Bobby Flay but no luck. Our waiter did say he was in the restaurant a little earlier and we just missed him. Bummer…

We had just enough time to recharge our batteries. It was great getting home to my kiddos. Thanks Pop and Maggie for taking such good care of the kids while we were gone.

Still Truckin'

Here are the kids this time last January. And here they are still cruising around in the Cadillac a year older. I would imagine Carter's foot will reach the pedal next year, and I think Ali will be the one holding on for dear life.

Have you ever had this much fun eating a popsicle? He starts out with a popsicle holder to catch the drips but apparently there's not much fun staying clean.
